The rainy season has started again this year. I was always worried about my house at this time of year.
When it rained heavily, I was worried about roof leaks. Strong winds might blow the tiles off the roof. I was relieved to hear the announcement of the end of the rainy season. I evacuated to my daughter's house during the typhoon two years ago. Realizing that the house could not resist them this year, I decided to paint the roof and exterior walls before the rainy season. It had been 32 years since it was newly built. This was the first home maintenance.

First, contractors cleaned the entire house with high pressure water. They washed away dust, mold and moss and dried it for a few days. Then they applied the first coat and next the finish coat twice.
I asked ‘ Kūkan Healing ’ design and coordination of HIMALAYAHOUSE to select the exterior paint colors. This was not the first time I had asked for design and coordination. I had asked for selecting wallpaper, curtains, desks, chairs and so on in the room several times.
Everything is in good taste.

Kūkan Healing ’ is based on Indian knowledge that is familiar in yoga, and I think it pursues the progress, development, luck improvement and happiness of the people who live there.
It is said to be Vedic Environmental Architecture VAASTU. For example, many people may be concerned about the orientation of the entrance and the layout of wet areas when building a house. HIMALAYAHOUSE offers advice on them with deep knowledge.

I asked for the selection without hesitation this time as well. This is because I would like to create an environment that will have a positive impact on my future life. I also had a desire to enjoy the benefit and make my gloomy days bright and enjoyable as much as possible.

Then, I was thrilled to receive the result form by postal mail.
Two pieces of paper, navy and light blue, were pasted on it and the paint color codes were written. It took a whole month to complete the construction. When the sheets that covered the house was removed and I looked at the whole house from a distance, I found that it had a beautiful and pretty color scheme.

I felt it had been completely reborn.
It was my house where various stories were likely to come out from. If these colors were listed in the catalog, could I have chosen them?
I would almost certainly have overlooked them. Blue is my favorite color, but I don't think I had the courage to choose them as the colors of my house.

In addition to that, one of the good things was that the contractors in charge of this construction worked carefully and were well-mannered. Moreover, the cost was cheap.
However, I don't think I should have done it earlier. I believe this timing was right.
